ConSERVE D.C.
In order to help restore public lands Alpha Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. joined together with The Student Conservation Association (SCA) and hundreds of other individuals to help clean the environment and improve D.C's urban waterfront.
The initiative titled "ConSERVE DC" took place on Martin Luther King Day and was orchestrated by the SCA to mobilize the next generation of community stewards for a massive cleanup of the Anacostia River, removing trash and debris from the shoreline.
