The Competitive Edge

The Competitive Edge addressed the need for professional Development in the Black Community. Resumes are usually the first digital impression that employers get and they have the power to move an applicant on in their process or blocking the opportunity before an applicant gets a chance to make their case. African Americans are highly at risk of becoming the latter due to a few reasons - not feeling like they have enough experience to showcase, not knowing how to tell the story of their experience, or simply having bad formatting.
