The Virtual Pop-Up Shop

As part of our youth-initiatives service projects, this program exposed high school students to various components of economic entrepreneurship in the Black community. Divided into a two part session, students were able to receive knowledge from a panelists of Howard University student-‘ business owners on information related to entrepreneurship, branding, and relationships between Black-owned businesses and their community. The second part of the program involved rotating breakout sessions where students began developing their own business plan and logo.
